The 15 th Shanghai International AD & Sign Technology Equipment Exhibition (APPPEXPO) was held on July 3-6 in Shanghai New International Expo Center. The 2007 APPPEXPO gathered elite enterprises and leading products in printing, packaging and paper industry, expecting to become the global trade platform for these industries. The branch company of Delta, Delta-CIMIC, reputed in the automation solution in the printing and packaging industry, also participated in the exhibition.

Apart from the latest products, Delta-CIMIC also presented live demonstration of many innovative systems for the printing and packaging industry. For example, in the “flying shear control system”, the high-speed operation passive tracking of the controller completes the synchronous tracking of speed through the feedback motion speed of the rotary encoder, which can be applied to the corrugated paper cutting machine, all kinds of cuttings, multi-color gravure printer, tabulated printer, cut-to-length, packaging, sealing and on-line processing in the production line, etc.

The advanced "interpolation" in PLC realizes the 2D 2-axis interpolation, which can be found in Delta's SC series positioning control PLC, offering outstanding oblique line, arc and curve motion control on a 2D surface. In the exhibition, Delta-CIMIC presented the high-speed operation and accurate control in the X and Y axis motion in the PLC, which is applicable in the oblique line and arc motion control in the printing and packaging industry, e.g. the positioning control in PCB printing.

Delta-CIMIC's "pillow-type packaging machine control solution" demonstrated the typical application of pillow-type packaging in the food packaging industry, which is widely adopted in the packaging of instant noodle, cookie and snack cake.
