VFD-E-C will be launched in November, 2007, with power ranging from 0.2kW to 11kW 115/230/460V, featuring built-in CANopen network protocol.
CANopen is a kind of network protocol based on CAN bus and has been used in various applications. It allows for not only broadcasting but also peer to peer data exchange between every CANopen node. In planning your fieldbus, CANopen can easily access device parameters as well as synchronize the device by high transmission speed, open architecture, cyclic and event-driven data transfer.
VFD-E-C can be applied in the X-Y axis in small traveling crane, washing machine, treadmill, robot arm on the injection molding machine, drilling machine, weaving machine, and so on, featuring common DC bus, many AC motor drives can be connected in parallel to share the regenerative braking energy. In this way, over-voltage is prevented and the DC-bus voltage stabilized.
