Delta's product lines in "Drive", "Motion" and "Control" offer you comprehensive automation control applications, industrial network solutions and vertical integration of automation products. Depending on the characteristics and applications of networks, we offer products belonging to the following three major network layers:
1. Component layer: All of Delta's industrial automation products construct this layer of network by the most commonly adopted communication protocol¡XModbus with highly-stable and easy-to-wire RS-485 interface (as the connection marked in green). At the same time, we offer all kinds of gateway equipment for our clients to connect their PCs to other networks. For example, DNA02 connects DeviceNet and Modbus; IFD8500 connects RS-232 and RS-485.
2. Control layer: This layer is a high-speed network of more than 500Kbps, marked by the highly stable and real-time communication. We construct this layer of network by the most common CANopen and DeviceNet in the industry (as the connection marked in yellow). Besides CANopen and DeviceNet master/slave (DVPCOPM-SL and DVPDNET-SL), Delta¡¦s AC motor drive (VFD-EC) and servo drive (ASDA-A2) are also built-in with high-speed network interface for high-speed control and multi-axis applications on motors. Delta further provides products of Profibus and LonWorks for different types of applications.
3. Information layer: This layer of network belongs to Ethernet, the most widely adopted network system in the world. The connection speed of up to 100Mbps, plus the pervasive TCP/IP communication protocol, makes it the fastest and most convenient way to connect to the remote equipment. Apart from the features mentioned, Delta¡¦s DVPEN01-SL is also built-in with webpage and E-mail functions and compatible with the world-renowned graphic control software SCADA, satisfying all kinds applications you need.
