Buffer conveyor is capable of buffering a number of substrate panel and the pieces of substrate panel can be customized and defined according to the customer's requirement.
The operation of the buffer conveyor adopts ˇ§first in and last outˇ¨ theory for storing the substrate panel temporarily on the equipment which cannot stop immediately to ensure that the equipment will work normally. In this buffer conveyor, Delta ASDA-A2 series servo drive is employed to drive the servo motor via pulse commands or analog voltage and feedback the encoder signals of the servo motor to the external controller for a full-closed loop control operation so as to control the buffer conveyor to complete the positioning of multiple points precisely. In practice, a successful motion control of the external controller depends on the implementation of high performance and high resolution AC servo system.
Delta ASDA-A2 series is used because it features 1280000 PPR superior resolution encoder which greatly enhances the positioning precision of the buffer conveyor. In addition, up to 1kHz frequency response equipped as standard also increases the accuracy and efficiency of tracking the control command to avoid that overshoot may occur during positioning and reduce the settling time of the servo system effectively.
