The 13th SHANGHAITEX was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center on June 1-4, 2007. Delta-CIMIC, reputed to be an outstanding supplier of automation systems in the textile industry, exhibited various new products in the venue.

Among the various exhibited products, the most eye-catching one is the frequency converter exclusively developed for the textile industry – VFD-BP series plate drive frequency converter. VFD-BP series is for dealing with the cotton fiber, dust and high temperature and a high demand for heat dissipation of the frequency converter in the environment of textile machinery. The finely made VFD-BP series will ensure the sustainability and high efficiency in the textile production process.

To reduce the number of defective fabric caused by the unstable tension of the shuttleless loom or the inconsistent density of the fabric, Delta-CIMIC developed professional controllers to be integrated with Delta’s PLC, HMI, AC servo, AC motor drives and encoders, offering the end users a more stable and reliable electricity control system and more accurate warp tension control.

The live-demo of texturing machine, roving machine and doubling machine exhibited in the venue, allowing the visitors to closely experience the perfect combination of computer technology, transmission technology, frequency converting technology, control technology and textile machinery.

Experts predicted that there will be a 4% growth in the world economy in 2007 and the strong international economy will benefit the textile machinery industry in China.
